Invoice Generator
Turn tracked hours into professional invoices. Auto-fill from your calendar events or enter line items manually — then download as PDF.
From Timesheet to Invoice in 60 Seconds
Most freelancers and consultants spend hours at the end of each billing cycle manually copying time entries into invoices. You cross-reference calendar events, add up durations, calculate totals, and hope you haven't missed a meeting or undercharged for a session. It is tedious, error-prone, and takes time you could be spending on actual work.
FillTheTimesheet's Invoice Hub eliminates that friction. When you connect your calendar and track your time through the platform, every event is already stored and categorised. Open the Invoice Hub, and those events are pre-loaded as line items. Set your hourly rate once, toggle individual events on or off, and the invoice calculates itself. One click generates a clean, professional PDF ready to send to your client.
No more manual data entry. No more spreadsheet gymnastics. No more missed billable hours. The pipeline from tracked time to paid invoice is seamless, accurate, and fast.
Two Ways to Create Invoices
From Timesheet
Your tracked calendar events are automatically loaded as invoice line items. Set your hourly rate, review or toggle events, and generate the invoice. Ideal when you bill by the hour and want accuracy without manual effort.
Manual Entry
Add line items by hand with custom descriptions, quantities, and rates. Perfect for fixed-price projects, retainers, product sales, or any billing that doesn't tie directly to tracked time entries.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create an invoice from my timesheet?
Connect your calendar (Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or others), track your hours, then open the Invoice Hub. Your events are auto-loaded as line items. Set your hourly rate, toggle events on or off, and click “Download PDF” to generate a professional invoice.
Can I create invoices without connecting a calendar?
Yes. Switch to the “Manual Entry” tab to add line items by hand. Enter descriptions, quantities, and rates manually. You can also combine both approaches.
What currencies are supported?
The invoice generator supports USD ($), EUR, GBP, and INR. Select your currency from the dropdown and all amounts, totals, and the PDF export will use that currency symbol.
Is my invoice data stored on a server?
No. All invoice data stays in your browser. The PDF is generated entirely client-side. Your business and client information is never sent to any server. You can save details to localStorage for reuse.
Can I add tax and discounts to my invoice?
Yes. Enter a tax percentage (for GST, VAT, or sales tax) and a discount percentage. Both are calculated automatically and reflected on the summary and the exported PDF.
